Olena Makeieva will speak about new Tax Code of Ukraine during EBA meeting
Olena Makeieva, certified auditor, managing partner of transnational outsourcing company InterGest Ukraine (www.intergest.com.ua), will speak about new Tax Code of Ukraine during a working meeting of legal committee at the EBA office in Lviv.
During the meeting dedicated to the Tax Code of Ukraine Olena Makeieva will discuss with participants following issues:
1. General provisions of the Tax Code;
2. Tax rates and new administration order:
• Profit tax;
• VAT;
• Personal income tax.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, 13.07.2010 at 17:00 at the EBA office in Lviv, 6 Bandery Str., office 3.

Mergers and Aquisitions (M&A): legal and tax aspects
On September 10, 2009 InterGest Ukraine outsourcing company, together with Arzinger law firm will hold a seminar on legal and tax issues of Mergers and Aquisitions (M&A). The seminar will take place in the press-centre of the informational agency Liga:Zakon.
Following issues will be disclosed during the seminar: legal aspects of M&A deals realizaton, issues of successful business restructuring by means of M&A, bankruptcy procedures in M&A, tax aspects of M&A. In the end of the seminar there will be held a round table with the lecturers, representative from State tax administration of Ukraine and the participants. All participants will have the opportunity to discuss the most interesting issues.

InterGest Ukraine expert opinion concerning bancruptcy and M&A issues
Olena Makeieva, InterGest Ukraine general director was an expert of the round table “Bankruptcy, M&A as instruments of anti-crisis management. The round table took place on July 2, 2009 in Kiev.
During the round table Olena Makeieva paid attention to tax consequences of reorganization by means of M&A. The speech aroused a huge interest of the participants and provoked active discussion.
The participants of the round table also discussed the trends and modern practice of M&A market and bankruptcy instruments as tools of financial recovery.

InterGest Ukraine together with LIGA: ZAKON held seminar-practicum for foreign representative offices
InterGest Ukraine together with LIGA: ZAKON held seminar “Representative offices: actual issues of doing business in Ukraine”.
During the seminar there were disclosed the issues on the procedure of registration of foreign representative offices, income declaring, specifics of accounting and taxation, taxation of income received in Ukraine from non-resident, legal issues of business operations of foreign bodies.
There were around 30 participants at the seminar among which the representatives of the following companies: Pricewaterhouse Coopers, BBC Ukraine, Gaz de France, NCH Advisors Inc., Shmidt Seeger AG and others.

Multinational outsourcing company InterGest entered the Ukrainian market
A multinational outsourcing company InterGest started its professional activity in Ukraine. This company is famous for its professional cooperation with the leaders of world market of goods and services and also for its locations in more than 50 countries worldwide. InterGest was founded in Sarreguemines (France) by Dr. jur. Heinz Anterist, who had been the lawyer of the outstanding logistic company at that moment.
